Paper Storage

Where is the best place to store the paper in your organisation? In a Storage cabinet that is protected from dust, moist and dampness to preserve the papers quality.

Purchase Consumbles

Where is the best place to purchase consumables? I find the best place to purchase consumables is at Office Works as they have the widest selection of accessories and focus on office supplies.

What type of ink cartridges should be purchased for your photocopier/printer? It depends on the type of equipment you have and what it does, for example the printer may have multifunctions such as photocopying and scanning and colour may be used. This would mean you would have to get a colour cartridge as well as a black cartridge. You can now also print photos using photo paper to get the best quality it is recommended you chose a good colour cartridge Information on the best ink cartridge for your printer/photocopier can sometimes be found in the information/directions booklet given when you purchase the item.

The recommended purchase price for paper? Our organisation purchases Reflex Copy Paper A4 Carton at $34.95 ( 5 packs)

What stock levels you would like to be maintained? For our organisation we like to have a high level of paper stock as it is so commonly used preferably 5-6 packs. For our other consumables such as Photocopier toner/cartridges we like have two in stock and one in the photocopier as it used alot.

How to look after the paper once the package is open. Keep paper stored in a cupboard/cabinet that is away from dust, moist and any dampness as once the package is open the paper is more at risk to being damage. The best thing to do is to take the paper out of its package and store it in a resealable wrap this way you can continually take out paper without the risk of it being contaiminated by dust or dampness.
