Lab Rules

    1. Come into the lab quietly; go to your assigned computer. 
    2. Use only your assigned computer. 
    3. Raise your hand if you have a question. Wait to be called upon before speaking.
    4. Treat classmates, teacher & equipment  with respect.
    5. Eat and drink OUTSIDE of the lab only.
    6. Read the screen BEFORE asking questions.
    7. Be prepared to learn something new every day 
    8. Make sure you leave your workspace as you found it! 
    9. Print only with permission and only push Print once!  

Lower School Computer Lab Discipline Policy

  1. Students are to be respectful at all times
  2. First time student is addressed: warning
  3. Second time student is addressed: Teacher is notified and 10 minutes to sit out at recess. 
  4. Third time student is addressed: Teacher is notified and students sits out entire recess. 

Middle School Discipline Policy

  1. Students are to be respectful at all times
  2. First time student is addressed:  Verbal Warning
  3. Second time student is addressed: Mr. Thornton is notified.

Email Etiquette

  • School Use Only
  • Use proper formatting, spelling, and grammar
  • CC anyone you mention
  • Subject line is what your email discusses
  • Answer swiftly
  • Re-read email before sending
  • Don't use all capital letters - THIS IS SHOUTING
  • Don't leave out the subject line
  • Don't attach unnecessary files
  • Don't email confidential information
  • Don't email offensive remarks
  • Don't forward chain letters or spam
  • Don't open emails or attachments from strangers
