WWI Trench Group Project

Work with the group you are sitting with. Materials: Sugar wafers Toothpicks Scotch Tape Pen Paper Crayons/Markers/Highlighters Plastic gloves Directions: Use your knowledge and resources to create the trench warfare system that was used in WWI. Remember there was more than 1 kind of trench. Make sure you create ALL they types of trenches. Use the plastic gloves when touching the sugar wafers if you want to eat them afterwards. :) Grading Rubric: 1. Created ALL types of trenches 2. Labeled the different trenches 3. Created a sign explaining trench warfare 4. The different trenches were located in the correct positions 5. Group worked well together and ALL members contributed and put forth effort This group project will be a 100 point grade for each student.

Google Docs Presentation

1. Click on create 2. Select presentation 3. Click the + button in top left to add new slides 4. Choose your theme, etc with buttons at top 5. To insert an image: Click on insert, click on image. If you want to pull from google drive select "My drive". If you want to pull from your computer select "Upload", then computer image, then "Pictures" on your computer

1. Go to our gmail email account. 2. Click on compose in the top left hand corner. 3. Type in the “To” box at the top, and type in the email address. 4. Type in the subject box whatever you want. This is usually a short phrase or even a word or two. Example: My grades from 1/10/14 5. In the body of your email (the big white space) you can type a couple of sentences explaining why you are emailing them. 6. ALWAYS put your name under what you type in the body of the email. This makes it personal. 7. Attach your document by clicking on the paperclip. You will search for it. You should have saved it in your documents on your computer. 8. Click on document. Click insert. 9. Now it’s attached to your email.
