How is your project coming? Did you pick something you wanted to do or something that looked "easy"? What does that say about you?
What do you feel like you still need to know? Or maybe you know everything already. What's that like?
April 11, 12, and 13 are the STAR testing dates. Seniors, be ready for your classes around 11:30 on Tuesday and Wednesday. Juniors, be ready for testing at 8:00 on all three days. Remember your incentive for taking these tests seriously: do you want to be proud of graduating from Silver Creek or embarassed? High scores on tests like STAR makes us look good, so give it your best!
And don't forget to take those extra items offered in the English and math sections of the STAR. These items help tell whether or not you are ready for freshmen-level CSU English and math tests. Hey! If you do well enough on these extra items, you don't have to show up at a college early two Saturday mornings (one for English and one for math) to take a two-hour test. Give it a shot and see how you do.
Siddhartha finals begin on Monday, April 10, 2006. Be ready; I've given you a lot of time in class, so do something worthy of all that time.
