Analysis

Now look at the New Images Tab to see our new images. The Analysis Tab is there to detail what other images that will be required to change - these are the current Clintouch images. Our image develoipment will be shown im the New Images Tab.

Proposal

- Create a Studio One folder on the Clintouch webspace to hold Studio One images. - Place a test image in the folder as soon as possible to prove that we have an infrastructure that we can display New Vs Old images. - This should take the Clintouch development team minutes - they will then need to inform us of the path to our folder. - Observation : I have observed this week that Hotmail allows folders to be attached to emails. This would be a good standard to adopt during our development.

We are fine .........

I hace ripped the source from the Clintouch site and have inserted it into tags here - you will observe that the links do not work - that is because of the path of the code, this is expected. So I have inserted a tag called clintouch.com just to demonstrate that you can include a website and have the links work.

I have inserted two animations into the first two pages just to see what they look like and I have done some image analysis below.

Autoplay / loop

Getting video autoplay and loop to work was tricky and there are lots of people out there failing to achieve it.

It was only a combination of looking at many forums and finding the instruction set that enabled me to do it. I am certain that people were having success but not in chrome.

Once I got there it looks simple and the bonus is that with a little more investigation I have determined how to embed playlist. This will give me hours of entertainment.

When undertaking the Clintouch development we will have to decide if we want autoplay and loop set or do we allow the client to start the video when he requires it. 

Here we have sampled a video with no autoplay but loop set to demonstrate one option.

Observation. On adding a video to this page it has lost the display of the scroll bar - this has been reported to protopage as an error. However the scroll function still works - just imagine that the scroll bar is there.

I was invited to a second life conference at the Whitworth Galley - I was too outspoken and my comments were not well received.


The speaker was talking nonsense and knew nothing about IT - I told her and she blanked all my question.


Sort of attitude I get a lot when you are more informed than the so called expert.

Studio One. was fantastic - I went to do art and digital photography twice a week.

They allowed me to teach computers one to one and put me through a PTLLS.


I would love to go there again but I think it has changed.


I never did find out if our art got on Clintouch - the site has gone now.
