Welcome to science 1st hand. Listed on this page are places in California to see to experience science outside of the classroom. Some sites show wildlife, geology, physics, and other thrills of life-long learning. Many of these sites are listed in class, since Ms. Herrington goes to them frequently as day trips. Enjoy the journeys! I have a "M" near some places since I am a member. If you want more info, let me know.
Welcome to my classroom collection of videos. Some of these are found, some are made, and some are adapted. To save a video, all you need to do is click, follow the instructions, and download. The files are spread between different free servers. If you see a 4 - click "Download Now" which appears below the video. If you see a orange monster, click "Download File" which is on the right of the video. If you see MS, enter password, then click "regular download". The files are wmv (most are) so you can import them into Movie Maker and adjust any video ... and they play in PowerPoint. If you have any questions or run into problems, please contact me. My newest ones are on my YouTube channel (asiscience). Password: bruin To follow the Fair Use Act, remember these are only for classroom usage and not for personal.
